The Disposal Days program will be held October 27-30, 2010.

UH will facilitate FREE statewide  recycling services courtesy of Apple, with collection locations at UH campuses on The Big Island, Kaua‘i, Maui, and Oahu. October 27–29 is designated for collection on select days from:

•  Non-profit organizations
•  Small/medium-sized businesses
  (of less than 100 employees)
•  All public/private schools and universities
•  Government Agencies (City, County, State)
•  Military Branches

Hawai‘i household residents may recycle on Saturday the 30th. For more information,

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I OFFERS FREE eWASTE DISPOSAL
 
HONOLULU — The University of Hawai‘i (UH) will again offer free electronic waste (ewaste) recycling this October to all Hawai’i households, all public and private schools and universities,  all City, County, State, Federal, and Military branches in Hawai‘i, all non-profit organizations,  and small to medium sized businesses with less than 100 employees. Free drop-off of residential computers, monitors, laptops, printers and TV's.

Call for current recycling fees for business all other residential electronics (e.g., fax machines, scanners, microwaves, radios and other home entertainment equipment).

Kona and Hilo locations available.  Please call first.

Over 100,000 pounds of e-waste going to California
for recycling at E-World Recyclers in Vista, CA.
